Cities Skylines 2 Game Pass skyscrapers in city

Cities Skylines 2 game pass – is it on the Xbox service?

Ever since the release of the classic Sim City, building towns, raising skyscrapers and getting people a decent place to live has been one of the favorite genres of many gamers. So, we come to the release of the latest title in the Cities Skylines series. But what are the chances of a Cities Skylines 2 game pass release? Let’s take a look.

Colossal Order’s CEO, Mariina Hallikainen, has mentioned how the studio has been pretty proud of their work on the series. The CEO also mentioned the many people who have played and appreciated the previous game and says the new title will be a step forward in the genre.

But let’s look at whether the city builder will come to the Xbox subscription service and find out what we know.

Will Cities Skylines 2 be available on Game Pass?

Cities Skylines 2 will launch on Game Pass on the day of release, which is October 24, 2023. This means that if you are subscribed to the service, you will get the chance to play the game as soon as it is released. That is definitely a pretty good deal.

The game will launch on PC, Xbox Series X/S and also on PlayStation 5. It will allow players to create and manage a city that, as the CEO mentioned at the Xbox event, “will feel alive like no other game before, with realistic transportation systems and economic circuits that feel as realistic as possible, along with infinite options to build and personalize your city, along with modding options”.
