Rather than the boss fights of traditional games, in Bramble the Mountain King, you’ll have various encounters that act as puzzles. So, rather than killing these enemies, your job is to escape their attacks and enter their psyches by using your special abilities.
Once you have defeated a boss by entering its psyche, you’ll usually get to see a cutscene that explains more about that particular character’s often-tragic backstory. In this respect, Bramble the Mountain King reminds you of games like Shadow of the Colossus.
