Boss Fish location in Tales of Arise

To find the Boss Fish in Tales of Arisem you must catch any of the following fish:

Aurum Arrowana
Armored Sturgeon
Cobalt Trout
Cygni Piracrucu
Golden Catfish
Silver Marlin

All of these are considered Boss Fish and will grant you the ‘Boss Fish’ ingredient when caught. Since you need any of these fish and not a specific one, here are all the locations where you can find them:

Boss Fish cooking – how to unlock Fish Steak recipe

Now that you’ve gathered enough Boss Fish, let’s see where to use it. The only recipe it’s used for is the Fish Steak recipe.

Fish Steak: 2x Pepper +1x Boss Fish – EXP Boost Medium (12% more combat XP)

However, this recipe isn’t unlocked by default. To get the Fish Steak recipe in Tales of Arise, complete the Peligon’s Zeugle Mascot side quest. This becomes available after completing ‘The Unliberated’ main quest and starts at Ganath Haros – Pelegion after talking to the young Dahnan woman there.
