Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways Lithograph Puzzle guide

Resident Evil 4 Remake is a thrilling and intense game that challenges players with various puzzles. One of the puzzles players encounter in the game is the Separate Ways lithograph puzzle in Chapter 4. In this guide, we will provide a step-by-step solution to help you successfully solve the lithograph puzzle in Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways.

The lithograph puzzle requires players to match symbols to unlock a door. This puzzle is slightly different from the one encountered by Leon in the base campaign. As Ada, you’ll need to find two lithographs and place them in the correct positions to solve the puzzle.

Read on to find out how exactly you can solve the lithograph puzzle in Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways.

Where to find the Lithograph Puzzle

Before attempting to solve the lithograph puzzle, you must first locate the two lithographs. The first lithograph, Lithograph A, is on the critical path but can be easily overlooked. As you progress through the game, you’ll come across a tilted bookshelf off the main path. Lift the bookshelf and continue straight, ignoring the other route for now. This will lead you to the merchant’s shop. Look for Lithograph A on the opposite side of the room from the merchant, on a table with books, papers, and a candle.

The second lithograph, Lithograph B, is located down another path near a fallen bookshelf. After retrieving Lithograph A, backtrack a little and go down a small flight of stairs. In the room with a fireplace and one enemy, eliminate the enemy and check the back corner of the room. You’ll find Lithograph B on a small bench.

How to Solve the Lithograph Puzzle in Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways

Once you have both lithographs, it’s time to solve the puzzle. The lithograph puzzle is located right across from where you found the second lithograph. Follow these steps to solve it:

  • Place Lithograph A in the slot on the right side of the puzzle.
  • Insert Lithograph B into the bottom slot.
  • Look for a stone with a blue umbrella symbol on it in a hexagon shape. Rotate it once so that it shows a fan with a red square.
  • Move the stone with the blue umbrella symbol to the top position.
  • Take the new stone, which now features a blue umbrella with a blue square, and place it in the slot on the right side.
  • Obtain the stone with a red hexagon symbol and an unknown object on it. Put this stone in the slot on the left side.
  • After correctly arranging the stones, the door should open, allowing you to progress further in the game.
