All Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope characters

In October of 2022, we’ll be back in the crazy world of Mario + Rabbids with the new title, Sparks of Hope. Ubisoft Milan has been working hard on the official sequel to their surprise hit Kingdom Battle, which was originally released in 2017. For five years we have been waiting but, soon, we’ll be able to go back and fight again. But who are the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope characters

Since this is a sequel, we can expect to be back in the very same universe as Kingdom Battle. So, similarly, Sparks of Hope is a crossover with characters from the Mario franchise and Ubisoft’s Rabbids series. We can definitely expect the return of characters from the previous game, in addition to introducing new ones such as the Luma named Sparks and the Rabbid version of Rosalina. Oh yeah, we can’t wait for that one!

The gameplay will also harken back to its predecessor, as similarly, this is also a turn-based strategy game. Players will have to carefully select which members to deploy on the battlefield, depending on the types of enemies that they’ll encounter and plan according to each playable character’s special attacks and stats. Read on below for a list of all Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope characters – who are they?

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope characters

Here are all the playable characters that have been confirmed so far:

  • Mario
  • Luigi
  • Peach
  • Rabbid Mario
  • Rabbid Luigi
  • Rabbid Peach
  • Edge (new)
  • Bowser (new)
  • Rabbid Rosalina (new)

With the addition of Bowser, Mario this time around will not be required as a mandatory presence in the party, so the player will definitely have more freedom. The Ubisoft Milan team, led by creative director Davide Soliani, so far has been doing an incredible job in delivering a game that, while still feeling like a Nintendo title, also received an injection of pure Ubisoft craziness, by the way of their Rabbids.

In the meantime, while we wait for the game to release, why not have some multiplayer fun with Splatoon 3? Or, perhaps, look at our Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope guides?
