Stardew Valley developer Eric ‘ConcernedApe’ Barone is working on a new game that has a similar pixel art style to his farming simulator called Haunted Chocolatier. We hear you screaming already, and hey, we are too. In fact, we’re already clearing hard drive space in preparation for the Haunted Chocolatier release date so we can play it as soon as possible.
From relaxed farming life to the spooky goings on of a chocolate factory, anything that ConcernedApe has a hand in is bound to be a great way to spend hundreds of hours. We don’t care that you’re making sugary sweets instead of milking cows, we’re here for it and we want it now.
So, read our Haunted Chocolatier release date guide below to find out everything we know about the pixel art game. We’ll keep it updated with all the latest information as we get it, so be sure to check back for development updates.
Haunted Chocolatier release date
Haunted Chocolatier is still in development. According to ConcernedApe’s Twitter account, he is “in the middle of a long grind,” so we likely won’t see the game for some time. We speculate that it will release in 2024 at the earliest. This is because it took him a decade to make Stardew Valley from scratch, and while he is using the skill set he gained during that game’s development, ConcernedApe is – from what we can tell – making Haunted Chocolatier by himself.
Haunted Chocolatier price
Haunted Chocolatier will cost $14.99 – the same as Stardew Valley. That’s according to a tweet from Barone, in which he states “It won’t cost more than Stardew. Very likely the same price.”
Haunted Chocolatier gameplay
Below, you’ll find the Haunted Chocolatier trailer. It depicts a graphics style of pixel art similar to Stardew Valley. The player can be seen foraging resources and crafting them into chocolate, talking to various characters in the game world, and visiting locations in different seasons.
That’s everything we know about the Haunted Chocolatier release date, gameplay, and price. Of course, the gathering and crafting game is still in development, so this guide will get updated as soon as more information becomes available.
