Fire Emblem Engage is a tactical role-playing game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. It is the latest installment in the Fire Emblem series which released on January 20, 2023. In this guide, we will take you through Griss Fire Emblem Engage.

The game features a large cast of characters, each with their own unique story and personality. One of the most intriguing characters is Griss, a key member of the game’s villains.

Let’s find out more about Griss Fire Emblem Engage!

Who is Griss in Fire Emblem Engage and can you recruit them?

In the latest chapter in the Fire Emblem series, Griss is an unplayable character who serves as one of the main antagonists. He is part of the group “The Four Hounds” who want to resurrect the Fell Dragon. Despite his villainous ways, Griss is a powerful magician, joined by his companions Mauvier, Zephia, and Marni, all of whom share his desire to resurrect the dragon.

Griss is a complex character with a deep backstory. He is fiercely loyal to Zephia, a childhood friend whom he has known for most of his life. Together, they share a common goal of reviving Sombron and restoring his power. Griss is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve this goal, even if it means confronting Alear’s forces head-on.

One of the defining traits of Griss is his extreme lust for violence. He takes great pleasure in inflicting pain and suffering, and even revels in the pain that he himself receives. He sees punishment as a reward for good work, in sharp contrast to his fellow Hound Marni’s desire for praise.

Interestingly, Griss shares his English voice actor, Jamison Boaz, with two other Fire Emblem characters: Pent from The Blazing Blade and Astram from Mystery of the Emblem as they appear in Fire Emblem Heroes.
