Fae Farm Fae Gate – how to find and unlock it

If you want to find and unlock the Fae Gate in Fae Farm, you’re in the right place. Here’s how to progress the Wisp Mother’s questline. While the quest itself is very simple, the game offers little guidance regarding the gate’s actual location. Due to that, many players get lost and can’t find it at all. However, it’s actually nearby and can be accessed easily. Let’s go through how to find it.

Fae Farm Fae Gate - speaking to the Wisp Mother in Fae Farm.

How to find the Fae Gate in Fae Farm

To find the Fae Gate in Fae Farm, head to the top right corner of the map, near the far back of Spooky Woods, and use your new wings to double-jump across the waterfall area. To access this area, you’ll need first to get the fairy wings, which are crafted by the Fairy Mother once you bring her three containers of Flutter Dust.

Once you bring those to the Fairy Mother and get your wings, all that’s left is finding the gate. Head to Spooky Woods and keep heading north until you find the gap and jump across. However, the quest doesn’t end there. Now, you’ll need to find a way to unlock the gate.

How to unlock the Fae Gate

To unlock the Fae Gate, interact with the Wisp Mother and bring her the following items:

  • Polished Citrine
  • Polished Aquamarine
  • Polished Peridot
  • Polished Topaz

These are all found in the Saltwater Mines and can be refined with the Gem Polisher. Once you bring those to the Wisp Mother, wait one in-game day, and she’ll repair the gate. Now, you can access the new Elven Village, the Floating Ruins, and Fae Acres.

In conclusion, you can find the Fae Gate in Fae Farm on the top right of the map, just north of Spooky Woods. To unlock it, interact with the Wisp Mother, bring her the required materials, and wait one in-game day until the gate is repaired. And that’s all! Now, you’ll be able to access the new areas and various new items.
