How to beat for whom the clock tower tolls in Octopath Traveler 2 

Completing the For Whom the Clock Tower Tolls side story requires you to take some hidden stairs, help an NPC, and finally, defeat a boss called Heavenwing.

To start the quest, you need to find and help the Clock Tower Technician. Make your way to Clockbank’s tavern and take the stairs that lead down to a pier. Sail east under the broken bridge, and then go north to reach the clock tower. 

The Old Clock Tower is a level 44 area, so make sure your team is well-prepared. Without proper preparation, the Heavenwing boss can be tough. It has 92,000 HP, can lock away three of its five weaknesses, and has seven shield points. But, it is weak against swords, spears, axes, bows, and thunder. Make sure your party members can use these physical attacks and spells to take down Heavenwing.

When you defeat the boss, you’ll get a Gale Feather. The Clock Tower Technician will then fix the clock tower, and you’ll get an Invigorating Nut (L) and 10,000 Leaves as a reward. With this, you’ll have completed this side story in Octopath Traveler 2.
